at Camp Fairlee

Now Accepting Summer 2025 Applications!

Camp Fairlee provides a safe and accessible camp experience where campers are challenged to discover their full potential, acquire new skills, and make new and lasting friendships while under the guidance of trained and qualified staff. While campers enjoy their time at Camp Fairlee, their families are able to take a much-needed break from caregiving.

Summer Camp Types

3:1 Overnight
Summer Camp

The summer program at Camp Fairlee provides a traditional camp experience for campers of all ages and abilities to experience adventures! Daily schedules include activities such as arts & crafts, music, sports, games, swimming, hiking, canoeing, hayrides, campfires, and more. The summer camp staff is comprised of professionals and college students recruited from around the world. Each staff member is carefully selected based on skills and experience. An extensive week-long, pre-camp training encourages the enthusiasm, creativity, and sense of commitment that is our tradition.

2:1 Overnight
Summer Camp

Starting in Summer of 2025, Camp Fairlee offers a 2:1 ratio option for campers. This option provides placement for campers who fall between the qualifications for the 3:1 and 1:1 ratio. Campers will be assigned to a counselor in pairs and will follow along the daily camp schedule. This ratio is available in every session except for the 8-day session at the end of August.

1:1 Overnight
Summer Camp

In addition to 3:1 camper to counselor sessions, Camp Fairlee also offers specialized 1:1 ratio summer sessions. While campers enjoy swimming, singing, and doing arts & crafts at one of Camp Fairlee's 1:1 respite weeks, their caregivers can take some much-needed time off from caregiving.  Participants will follow the daily camp schedule. There are limited number of spaces for these sessions - please call ahead before registering.

Daily Adventures

Offered during the summer, participants in the program reside at Camp Fairlee during the week, but activities involve a daily field trip to nearby points of interest. Destinations include the seashore, state parks, zoos, and other attractions in nearby cities such as Washington D.C., Annapolis, and Baltimore. The Youth Daily Adventure is for children ages 13-21 and the Adult Daily Adventure is geared towards adults 21 and above. PLEASE NOTE: due to the pandemic, our Daily Adventures camps are postponed until 2022.
